The transformation of the historic Barron Building into modern residential apartments is an important project for Strategic Group. It is an industry-leading example of office-to-residential conversions that has the support of the municipal and federal governments. It is also an opportunity to position Strategic Group CEO Riaz Mamdani as a creative and visionary local leader. 

To acknowledge the official start of this project, Daorcey led a team to create an incredibly successful media event that was covered by local and national outlets. The event featured Riaz Mamdani, Calgary Mayor Jyoti Gondek, and Calgary Member of Parliament George Chahal, and it was attended by industry and government partners. The resulting spread of coverage reinforced Strategic Group’s expertise in conversion projects and Riaz Mamdani’s leadership in the community.
